Unlike most my projects, this one basicly worked first try. i had this 8x8 Adressable RGB matrix and i fell in love with this demo that adafruit (i think) provided. specificly the confetti animation. anyway i had to have it on my wall
the code was surpising easy to get working, using an esp-01 and some wires, I had a funtioning demo on my desk in an hour, but when I moved to being powered externaly (not on my breakout dev board),the esp kept resetting and behaving weirdly. long story short the capactior on the esp had broken off and with long wires providing power, the power wasnt stable. adding a capactior banished tis proble to hell where it belongs and I never had an issue again
I then designed a 3d printed case with a difuser. I was very proud of this since it was one of my first 3d prineed designs I made. and it looked really good.
